What is Alpha?
Everyone has questions about life. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering?
Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in safe, low-key, relaxed environment. Each interactive session includes dinner, a short film, and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. You are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
What's Involved?
Alpha consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as:
- Is there more to life than this?
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I have faith?
- Why and how do I pray?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- How does God guide us?
- Who is the Holy Spirit?
- How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
- Does God heal today?
- What about the church?
