Andrew, the Protoclete

Protokletos, which means "the first called." Andrew is known as being the first follower of Jesus. In the Bible, Andrew was a disciple of Jesus Christ, a fisherman by trade, and the brother of Peter. Though not much is written about him, stories in the gospels portray Andrew as a thoughtful and humble leader, eager to follow Jesus, and faithful in bringing others to Christ throughout his life and ministry.
