Ephesians 6:10-17

Ephesians 6 says that the Bible is both the belt of truth and the sword of the Spirit. We need to engage the Scriptures in study so that the Word of God is both our foundational truth (the belt) and the weapon we use in spiritual warfare (the sword). We need to understand the Scriptures so well that we have 'the mind of Christ' (1 Cor. 2:16).
