Expressing the Love of God to the Homeless

As we enter the Fall and Winter seasons, let us remember those who are struggling with homelessness and care for their needs in a practical way by helping them to stay warm in the cold.

Please join us to participate in our 3rd annual Clothing Drive, organized by the “Love Our Neighbours” Cantonese small group, in support of NightShift Street Ministries. Since 2004, this non-profit Christian organization has been serving the needy and homeless in Surrey's inner city - and now also in Langley - by sharing God's love in practical and tangible ways.

While Surrey has the second-largest homeless population in Metro Vancouver, after Vancouver, the number has risen significantly—by 65% since 2020 (according to the 2023 Homeless Count in Greater Vancouver).

NightShift not only serves hot meals 365 nights a year but also provides clothing distribution, mobile medical services, professional care counseling, a drop-in resource center, a social enterprise food truck, and, most recently, a women-only extreme weather response shelter.

Our donations will help NightShift continue providing clean, warm clothing, shoes, and blankets—simple yet essential items that enable our neighbors in need to survive another cold night this winter.
