This convention is held every 2 years and alternates between west coast and east coast locations for the gathering. It is organized by the Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (CCACA).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 JMC will not be a physical convention at Brock University (St. Catharines, ON) but rather the convention will be conducted online.
This year the theme is “A1:8 Our DNA” focusing on the C&MA DNA of “Deeper Life” and “Global Missions”, particularly in the making of “Christ-Centred, Spirit-Empowered and Mission-Focused” disciples everywhere.
There will be different language tracks (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin) available to those who attend. The opening session will be on Friday night (July 2) with greetings from Rev. Dave Hearn and a keynote address from Rev. James Hudson Taylor IV. On Saturday morning (July 3) there will be a "Coffee Time" with Alliance International Workers including breakout rooms for in-depth sharing and Q&A interaction time. On Saturday afternoon, there will be JMC Symposiums with breakout rooms. English Symposium: "Reaching the World Creatively and Locally". For more details go to: Key Info on CCACA 2021 JMC Online.
