MayDay Events this past May
On May 16, 2026, a group of 23 members from three congregations and across three generations came together to serve in the Lytton Ministry. This marked the fifth year of hosting a carnival for families in the Lytton First Nations community during their annual MayDay Events.

This year, we were fortunate to hold the event indoors at the Battlefield Community Centre, located a few miles from downtown Lytton. At first, we were uncertain how many people would attend because of the more remote location. However, God blessed the event with many visitors. The indoor setting encouraged people to stay longer and connect more easily with one another. In particular, the café booth created meaningful opportunities for deeper conversations and relationship-building with community members.

During our post-event sharing, many brothers and sisters reflected on how God has been planting seeds through this ministry. A number of visitors recognized Fraser Lands Church and were aware of the ongoing support we have provided over the years through carnivals, hampers, and supplies. One woman invited us to pray for her family, while an elder shared his gratitude, faith, and decision to pursue a positive path in life. These moments were powerful reminders of God’s grace at work throughout this journey.

Upcoming River Festival
We are now looking forward to an even bigger event later this year - the River Festival on Saturday September 5, 2026 during the Labour Day weekend. In addition to our usual carnival activities, we are working with Lytton Chinese History Museum and Lytton First Nations to trace back some of the Lytton Chinese settlers during the early years. We will require a team of over 50 for this ministry trip. We invite you to join us in connecting with the people of Lytton and sharing Christ’s love with the community.

FLC mugs will be available to purchase starting this Sunday June 28th to July 26th at the Info Counter in the front entrance foyer after services. There are 6 colours to choose from: yellow, orange, lime, sky blue, red, and dark grey. Cost is $13 per mug or 2 for $25. Cash or cheque only please.

An amazing family friendly, fun-filled day for everyone featuring free hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, food tasting booths, cooking demo, carnival games, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon animals, arts & crafts, mini-golf, live music, photo booth, community service booths, and much more.

A five day summer day camp, where kids from Preschool to Grade 6 can join in on the fun! A fabulous week of day camp filled with Bible lessons, creative crafts, joy-filled singing, amazing games, delicious refreshments, and lasting friendships.

VBS Volunteer Sign Up
If you would like to help out at VBS in August, we are in need of a few key station leaders: Pre-K Sticky Scripture Co-leader, Grade School Sticky Scripture Leader, and Grade School Games Leader. For descriptions and/or to sign up for these or other roles, please click here.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
