After serving for six years as an English Pastor at Fraser Lands Church, Pastor Ben Short has resigned from his ministry position at our church. We would truly like to thank Pastor Ben & Kelsey for their years of faithful and loving service. Please pray for God’s leading upon Pastor Ben & his family.  

We are planning to have a summer baptism outdoors in August. If you would like to be baptized this summer, please click below for more details. The application deadline is July 19th. 

As God has generously given us gifts and talents, and we believe it's our responsibility to steward them by improving upon it and investing in growth. Join us as we learn from each others' expertise and grow together. Even if you are not currently actively serving in a worship capacity but are curious or seeking to develop in these areas, you are welcome to join!

Our next ministry trip to Lytton will be on Saturday August 30 during their 21st annual River Festival. We will again be serving the community by holding a Children’s Carnival. The festival is a celebration of two great rivers – the Thompson and Fraser – and their historical and present role in the community. 

We will introduce more varieties to the carnival games, activities, and prizes to add excitement for the children. A gifted musician Eddie Lam and his wife Robyn from Newbern Alliance Church will be joining our trip to perform at the carnival. As usual, the trip will be a long day trip leaving Vancouver at 6:30 a.m. and arriving back around 8:30 p.m. It will be a truly rewarding experience for you – guaranteed!

For the trip, we need 40 to 50 volunteers. We also need vehicles and at least two drivers for each vehicle to share the 3-hours drive. An orientation/training session is scheduled for Sunday August 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

VBS Volunteer Sign Up
If you would like to help out at VBS in August, please sign up here. We are still in need of 8-10 adult leaders to be group leaders who supervise the kids and lead them to the different stations.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up. Click here for more info.
