When Jesus speaks to the disciples they are outside of Jerusalem. All along Jesus has been reaching those outside the 'in' group, extending the boundaries of the kingdom of God. When Jesus sends us to 'go', he calls us to develop a missional mindset outside the walls of the church. For most people, this means having a heart for people in a network or neighbourhood.

The MOMENTUM Picnic and Softball Game that was originally planned for this Sunday (July 7) will be POSTPONED to a later and less hot day in the summer. A rescheduled date will be announced in the coming weeks.

This Sunday July 7th is the deadline to sign up online! A friendly reminder to sign up as a volunteer for the Community Day being held on Saturday July 20th. We need lots of volunteers to help make the day a success! We are short of helpers so we ask to please don't wait and sign up now! This is an amazing & blessed event for the community and our church.

We are gearing up for our next Ministry Trip on Saturday August 31, 2024. Again, we have been invited to help out in the Lytton River Festival. This year is the festival’s 20th anniversary and it will be held for the first time after the fire in the village centre! Will you consider joining us on this trip? As usual, it will be a long but meaningful day trip. Please register online or contact us directly.

River Festival Ministry Trip Volunteer Sign Up

From July 14th - August 3rd, Pastor Xavier Law will lead a team of 12 members from various cities across Canada and go to Ouesso in the Republic of the Congo. The majority of the time, on weekdays, they will be supporting New Sight Congo by assisting in the set up of the Ouesso Eye Hospital for their 2025 goal of being fully operational (https://www.newsightcongo.com). On weekends, the team will be supporting the local church through sharing messages in worship and running programs for children. Please pray for the safety as they travel to Congo and for team unity as they serve together with New Sight Congo.

The Teens Badminton and Volleyball Summer Program is a free drop-in for teenagers aged 12 to 18 years old to have a place where they can have fun playing badminton and volleyball with friends and make new friends. Badminton and volleyball alternate weeks every Tuesday. On the weeks where there is badminton, please bring your own racquets. Click below for more info and to register.

Scuba VBS 2024 takes kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they'll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. A fabulous week of day camp filled with Bible lessons, creative crafts, joy-filled singing, amazing games, delicious refreshments, and lasting friendships.

Registration deadline is this Sunday July 7th.
- Limited spots left for Pre-K. 
- Grades school is full. Additional registrations will be placed on a waitlist.

Small Groups Ministry Updates
Small Group Leaders who are planning to continue to run their small group for another year will need to submit their group descriptions by July 9th. If you are planning to launch a new small group or interested in learning more about leading a group, please talk to Pastor Ben (ben@fraserlands.ca).

There are also small group leader training sessions called "ReBoot" which is designed to support and encourage all small group leaders. This will be on Thursday evenings July 11, 18 and 25 starting at 7:15pm at church. All small group leaders are encouraged to make attendance a priority. Thank you to all the small group leaders for your tireless service to our community.

Serve at VBS
This summer at Vacation Bible School, children will dive into a fun-filled week of worship, Bible adventures, crafts, games and most importantly swimming in God’s Word! Get ready to volunteer and help children become friends with Jesus! VBS will run from Aug. 12-16, 2024. Click here for more info about areas to serve.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
