Combined Christmas Family ServiceSunday, December 22, 2024 | 10am Join us either in-person or online via live stream this coming Sunday December 22nd at 10am for a special combined service with the whole church family that will take the place of our 9:15am & 11am services. All are welcome. "The First Disciples: Mary & Joseph" In the face of the challenges that would come from being called to give birth and raise the Son of God. The angel declares to Mary: “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God... ...For no word from God will ever fail.” (Luke 1) The Angel declares to Joseph: "Do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit." Join us on Christmas Eve!Tuesday, December 24, 2024 "An Evening in December" is a Christmas Eve program featuring Christmas carols, special music, and a short message of hope. All are welcome to this family-friendly event. No tickets required. Join us on Tuesday, December 24th at 8:00pm either in-person or online via livestream. A Special Welcome
We are blessed to have members of the Nisyok family joining us at "An Evening in December" and welcoming our guests with their traditional song and dance at the beginning of our program. A message from the family: "We are Nisga'a, Tsimshian, and Haisla. Our grandchildren have been performing and involved with their traditional dance and drumming group since they were babies and they love showing their drumming and singing abilities. We are all looking forward to playing for you on our drums this Christmas Eve." |
AEID Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers to prepare and serve at the Dessert Cafe after the Christmas Eve program for "An Evening in December". Each evening includes a video session on the topic of the evening, private discussion for the couples, and a dessert to share. Each session features leading experts, teaching content, and stories from around the globe.
