Pastor Ben was born in Sydney, Australia. His Dad is an Australian pastor and moved to Canada in 1993, thinking that they would get back to Australia within two years. God does funny things! Ben’s family has lived in Canada ever since!
Ben grew up in Vancouver and went to UBC to study math and physics. Since then he has worked on a construction site, in an underground particle lab, with a hedge fund, as a math tutor and for several churches. He has lived and studied in Canada, UK, Australia and US. He completed a MA with a focus on the New Testament at Regent College while planting missional communities. He is working as the Assistant Pastor to the English congregation. Ben loves to read all kinds of books and play games like Chess and Pandemic. He is excited about missional community and seeing how the church can get creative about mission.
Ben is married to Kelsey, who is amazing and is from Maryland. Kelsey recently gave birth to their first daughter, Rayah. Ben and Kelsey are on the very beginning of their journey into parenthood.
