Jesus said his disciples are known by their love. How does this look like in our day-to-day lives? What are ways we can serve one another so that our actions communicate the kind of love God wants to show to others? Jesus' servant heart and readiness to care for his friends gives us an example to live by.

Feeling tired or discouraged as a ministry leader? Not sure if you have what it takes to continue? The apostle Paul also faced tremendous pressure in his ministry. In 2 Corinthians he shares many unique perspectives on how to be an exemplary and effective minister. Let's come together for a few months to study God's Word and to help each other to reflect and recharge.

The Small Groups ministry provides an environment where you can cultivate Christian friendship and fellowship in Christ. It is about genuine and authentic relationships. It is about bearing one another's burdens. It is about sharing one another's joys. It is about building one another up in Christ.

For the month of August, the children will be joining the adults at worship service as part of our "Family Services". There will be a children's moment during service each week. There will be no Children's Sunday School & Kidz Church at 9:15am & 11am in August. The Nursery will be open for self-serve only at this time.

We are thankful that registration for our August 31st Lytton Ministry Trip is at capacity. Any new registrants will be put on a waiting list. Praise the Lord, we will have up to 55 members for the trip. Thank you for your continual prayers and support.

The Teens Badminton and Volleyball Summer Program is a free drop-in for teenagers aged 12 to 18 years old to have a place where they can have fun playing badminton and volleyball with friends and make new friends. Badminton and volleyball alternate weeks every Tuesday. On the weeks where there is badminton, please bring your own racquets. Click below for more info and to register.

The Safety and Risk Management Training Seminar is mandatory for all volunteers serving with minors in Children's and Teens Ministry. All new and prospective volunteers are required to take the Full Training course in person on Sunday September 8, 2024 at 1pm-3pm.

Volunteers who have previously taken the Full Training are required to take the annual Refresher Course. We have a self-directed online course via Google Classroom which includes a quiz that must be completed before the deadline of September 29, 2024. 

Whether you are taking the Full or Refresher Training, please sign up below. The registration deadline is Friday September 6, 2024.

Everyone has questions about life. What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering?

Alpha is a chance to ask these big questions and explore the Christian faith in a safe, low-key, relaxed environment. Each interactive session includes dinner, a short film, and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. You are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. Dinner is included. Cost is free for guests. Alpha starts September 11th and runs for 12 Wednesday evenings. Come yourself or invite a friend and come with them!

Serve at Youth Ministry
We are looking for female counsellors who are interested in walking with our new Gr. 7 girls this Fall! Please contact Pastor Nathan (nathan@fraserlands.ca) if you want to learn more or hear about different opportunities to serve in our youth ministry.

Serve at Alpha
We are looking for volunteers to help run Alpha. Please prayfully consider serving in this 12 week long ministry to outreach to those in our community and beyond. The roles we are looking for are food prepration, dessert makers, table discussions, greeters and sign-in, setup, A/V, worship, and book table. Youth Ministries Update
Registration for Youth Ministries has begun! If you (or your children) are teens in Gr.7-12, you are invited to be part of our youth ministries this Fall. Fraser Lands Gallery Exhibit 
The Fraser Lands Arts Ministry has curated a photography exhibit with the Fraser Lands Photography Group to tie in with Community Day with the theme: "A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood". The thematic direction of this exhibit was meant to showcase and capture the beauty of our neighbourhood, and the aspects that make it a community. You can view the exhibit in the courtyard gallery in the FLC lobby throughout the summer (July - August 2024).

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
