"The Brokenness of Work"

When God made the world He called humanity to participate in the creation mandate through our work. However, in the fall the rebellion of Adam and Eve affected all aspects of the created order, including our capacity and arena of work. Work is now toilsome. Understanding the biblical picture of the brokenness of work can help us understand the frustrations in our own working lives, as well as set our hope in the right place. 

The Pre-Marriage Course is a practical five-session course offered by Alpha for dating or engaged couples who are exploring the idea of marriage. The Pre-Marriage Course helps build a strong foundation for your relationship by teaching you to communicate more effectively, understand each other’s needs, resolve conflict, know the importance of spending time together, and share goals, values, and dreams. Registration deadline is May 21st. 

Join us as we gather for worship, reflection, personal prayer time, and corporate prayer for important needs and issues. Let us come together to give thanks, pray for the world, our city, our church, and for each other.

Lunch available beforehand after the 11am service at 12:30pm for those staying for the Prayer Summit. In order to know how much food to prepare, please sign up for the lunch below. Deadline to sign up for lunch: Thursday May 25th.

Canada Summer Jobs Program is an initiative under Canada's Youth Employment strategy. CSJ provides funding to create job opportunities for young people ages 15-30 years old. As a result, we have two full-time summer positions (Children's Ministry Assistant & Youth Ministry Assistant) available at FLC. Please click below for more info.

A mini 3-week Sunday School Class. Pastor Ben will take one Psalm each week and lead you through a simple exegesis exercise. We will try to analyse the structure and poetic images of each Psalm, and then follow the threads into the New Testament. All are welcome, no previous bible knowledge or experience is required. Set Free Weekend focuses on learning how to deal with the hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis and come to a place of freedom inside our hearts from the past, through listening prayer, confession and learning about the power of the cross. Registration deadline is May 28th.

If you have ever wondered if God still speaks today or how to hear His voice, then we invite you to join us for the Hearing God Seminar! This six week seminar is a guided journey that helps you learn to listen to the voice of God, and sense His presence. It's highly recommended for anyone wanting to build a closer relationship with God. Registration deadline is May 28th.

Sunday Parking Reminder
On Sundays, the upper parking lot is reserved for first time visitors, parents with babies/toddlers (up to age 3), people who have limited mobility, handicap parking, and drop off/pick up.
